Fun Ways to Exercise
When you think of exercise, the first thing that everyone usually thinks of is hitting the gym or going for a run. However, if you're anything like us, this doesn't stir up enough excitement to get my butt off the couch and out of my front door. Recently, we have been trying out different types of exercise with a little more umph.
1. Rock Climbing
If you're not too afraid of heights, rock climbing is the perfect balance between strength and cardio. You work out your entire body, while also working your mind. Grab a buddy (or boulder solo) and check out your nearest rock climbing gym for a workout sure to leave you sore the next day.
This increasingly popular exercise is sure to increase your flexibility, muscular strength, and reduces stress. Call up your closest friends, try out a yoga class and hit up your favorite brunch spot after!
Hiking is one of our favorite activities because you can spend time talking to your friends while trekking to a beautiful, instagram-worthy view. Make sure you hike with snacks for the end of your hike so you can relax and have a picnic!
High impact sports like soccer and basketball are super fun if you want plenty of cardio and a little competition. On the other hand, sports such as tennis and golf are sports that will keep you active for the rest of your life.
Whether you're attending a zumba class or busting out your best moves on the dance floor, dancing is an entertaiin activity to keep you moving.
