Dang Coconut Breaded Chicken

 

Looking for something to jazz up your average breaded chicken recipe? Try crushing up Dang Toasted Coconut Chips to use as your breading, or mix it with panko for a subtler crunch. Using coconut chips in your breading will produce crunchy chicken with just a hint of sweet coconut.  Dang, that sure sounds good!

This recipe is simple! To begin, prepare your breading by crushing up the Dang Toasted Coconut Chips in a shallow bowl. Mix with Panko, salt, pepper and herbs of your choice. In a separate bowl, whisk one egg.

Take your chicken breast (any other cutlet of chicken works too) and dip it into the egg. Once it has been coated with egg, dredge both sides of the chicken in the breading, making sure to coat the whole piece evenly. Bake the chicken at 400˚F for approximately 20-30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked throughout.
